1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DevBuildTool Agents ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), including our web interface, edge APIs, and automated compliance engines, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

2. Nature of the Service & Disclaimers

DevBuildTool Agents provides AI-generated, rules-based document review with source-citation validation. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Not Legal or Insurance Advice: The findings, reports, and extracted facts generated by the Platform are automated computational evaluations based on user-supplied documents and rule packs. They do not constitute legal, insurance, underwriting, or professional compliance advice.
• Human Oversight Required: Automated checks are designed to assist human decision-makers. You remain solely responsible for verifying facts, reviewing flagged exceptions, and making all final operational decisions.
• AI Model Limitations: Reviews use multimodal language models. Citation text is validated against available source text, but models can still misinterpret documents and scanned pages may not permit exact quote validation.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

Access to certain features requires authentication through Auth0. You agree to provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your authentication credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Credits, Billing, and Payments (Razorpay)

Usage of specialist agents is metered via digital platform credits.

• Payment Processing: Payments for credit packs are securely processed via Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay") and supported banking partners. We do not store sensitive payment card details or banking passwords on our servers.
• Pricing and Delivery: Credit pack pricing is transparently displayed in our catalogue. Purchased credits are credited electronically and made available immediately upon payment confirmation.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): When using your own AI provider API key, the platform credit cost for model extraction is waived (0 credits), subject to platform rate limits.
• Taxes: All fees are subject to applicable goods and services taxes (GST) or other jurisdictional taxes where applicable.

5. Intellectual Property & Document Rights

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the documents, certificates, and evidence you upload. We claim no ownership over your source files. Documents are processed in-memory during single-request workflows and are never retained, stored permanently, or used for machine learning training.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Upload documents containing malicious code, viruses, or prompt injection exploits designed to compromise model systems.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication controls, or billing gateways.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the verification services or backend architecture.
• Use the service for fraudulent or unlawful activities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DevBuildTool Agents, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for credits in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
